Victoria University Te Puni Village

Te Puni Village, that can accommodate 375 residents, sits on a steep site on Fairlie Terrace above Boyd Wilson Field and offers substantial views of the city.

Tommy Honey, architecturenz magazine (2, 2009) questioned 'How can such a utilitarian building present such different characters to the world? This is an unusual strength of the design that rewards exploration.'

The answer is the application of the very versatile Moeding ventilated clay tile system. Over 6,000 m2 of Moeding were used in the application, and the result, as seen in the photos, is impressive.
