Justice and Emergency Services Precinct

The Justice and Emergency services precinct brings together the New Zealand Police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, St John New Zealand, the Ministry of Civil Defence and the Department of Corrections in to one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct.  An estimated 2000 people will work in or use the 42,000m2 precinct daily so it's important that the floor coverings are hard wearing.  This is why Warren & Mahoney chose Shaw carpet tiles, Tarkett iQ Granit vinyl, and Regupol rubber flooring.

Shaw carpet tiles: Material Matters Fringe Myth 18x36, Material Matters Fringe Stardust 18x36, Colour frame 18x36, Colour Frame 24x24.

Tarkett vinyl in locker rooms and shower rooms: iQ Granit 435, Granit Safe.T 699

Regupol rubber floors: Core Berlin, Core Mons, Intensity Mons.

The Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct was the winner of the Interior Architecture category of the NZIA awards 2018.
